Abdominoplasty

Some factors such as age, pregnancy and big weight loss can be the cause of having too much flab or excess skin in your abdomen that doesn’t respond to diet or exercise.
The solution to this problem is abdominoplasty, also called “tummy tuck”.
Tummy tuck is a major surgical procedure under general anesthesia to remove excess skin and fat from the middle and lower abdomen and to tighten the muscles of the abdominal wall.
A tummy tuck is also an option for men or women who were once obese and still have excess fat deposits or loose skin around the belly.
This surgery can take anywhere from one to five hours. You may need to stay overnight in the hospital, depending on your case. Many patients can return to work after 2 weeks after tummy tuck surgery, but this depends on how extensive your surgery is and what you do for a living. In some cases, you may need to be off work 4 or more weeks.
Our experienced surgeons would give you all details about the post-surgery procedure.
